Midland Age Group Championships

Well done to Marcus Williamson and Amy Colclough, both of who competed in their first Midland Championships over the past two weekends in Coventry.

 

Marcus (13) competed in the 100 Free, 200 Free and 400 Free events, against a very tough field and came away with some good swims, particularly in the 100 Free.

 

Amy (11) had her work cut out with swims in the 200IM, 400IM and 800 Free, giving fine accounts of herself in all three events, though especially the 400IM where she placed 11th.

 

We know that l both Marcus and Amy will be back in 2010 to improve on their displays and build upon the experience gained here!
